Jisr handled employee management, but the hiring process lived on separate tools. For 4,500+ businesses, this created a gap in their daily workflow.
Without a connection to HR data, managers relied on spreadsheets and manual emails. This disconnect slowed down recruitment and caused teams to lose track of top talent in an unorganized process.
User interviews
I conducted user interviews to understand what challenges hiring teams were facing and what they needed from a unified recruitment tool. Those conversations shaped which core functionalities and features we would include in the MVP.
Feature prioritization for the MVP
I categorized all participants' responses using an affinity map and a feature prioritization matrix to surface high-level themes and opportunities, as well as specific pain points to solve first. This structured approach kept the MVP focused on what would move the needle for hiring teams while leaving room to iterate based on real usage.
Validating the MVP
We shipped an MVP beta to validate core flows and gather feedback. I grouped challenges and feedback from testing into themes and drove targeted enhancements in a second release before scaling out.
